These wheels are recommended for use in the meat processing and slaughtering industry due to their resistance to treatments aimed at inactivating microorganisms, including hot water, steam, and disinfectant applications. They are highly recommended for meat wagons and ham trolleys. The wheels exhibit excellent resistance to alkaline cleaning agents, which are typically used to remove organic soils such as protein residues and fats. They also withstand acid cleaning agents employed to eliminate encrusted residues, protein deposits, and inorganic buildups such as waterstone, milkstone, and lime scale.

The D-FLEX range is the advanced successor to the “sister” D-NAMIC series, offering the same high resistance to alkaline cleaning agents—commonly used for removing organic soils such as protein residues and fats—and to acid cleaning agents, which effectively remove encrusted dirt, protein deposits, and inorganic scaling such as waterstone, milkstone, and lime. Highly recommended for meat wagons and ham trolleys requiring slip-resistant handling. What distinguishes this series is its soft, elastic, and ergonomic polyurethane tyre, which provides exceptional grip on wet floors, ensuring non-slip performance. Additionally, the tyre offers superior shock and vibration absorption, resulting in smooth, vibration-free, and quiet rolling. Both the wheel core and tyre are manufactured using DC’s exclusive non-porous, closed-cell materials, supporting hygienic processing in controlled atmospheres such as sterilizers. The wheels fully comply with cleaning and sanitation regulations applicable in meat processing facilities.

The DITHERM LTW range is specifically engineered for safe and reliable use in the meat industry across processes such as cooking, smoking, canning, drying, fermentation, irradiation, and freezing. Manufactured from high-density, high-grade polyamide reinforced with glass fibers and additional natural fibers, these wheels provide superior resistance to steam and corrosive drainage substances commonly encountered during meat processing. Produced using DC’s exclusive non-porous, closed-cell materials, the wheels are compatible with rigorous cleaning protocols and can be sanitized using steam, chemical cleaners, and high-pressure washing systems.

This range is the basic option for use in the meat processing, assuring a good resistance against chemical washing and a good load capacity.

The wheels are produced with DC exclusive non-porous materials with closed cells, to allow hygienic and healthy process also in controlled atmosphere.

They can also be used as wheels in non-expensive meat wagon but still assuring the compliance to hygienic rules.
